Network and Systems Administrator, Mountain West Cardiovascular, SLC, UT 6/2008-1/2010

  • As a Senior Admin, authorize and review all IT related actions and change orders as needed
  • Provide day to day desktop and network support for end users
  • Administer Cisco, Dell, and SMC switches
  • Migrating ticket systems from OTRS to RT

HelpDesk Technician II, SOS Staffing, SLC, UT 11/2004-1/2007

  • Provided PC, server, printer and any networking equipment support to the entire company of over 150 offices and 600 employees
  • Traveled nationally to move, setup and rewire offices
  • Performed upkeep on a RIS server for PC production
  • Responsible for following up on support issues in a ticket based system
  • Planned and implemented the EMail distribution list conversion to Mailman

Team Leader, United States Marine Corps, 29 Palms, CA 7/2000 – 7/2004

  • Fought in Operation Iraqi Freedom I and II
  • Was attached to 3rd Battalion 4th Marines Lima Company during the initial invasion of Iraq. Our Company tore down Saddam’s Statue in Baghdad.
  • Later attached to 3rd Battalion 7th Marines Lima Company when approaching EAS. Toured again to Husaybah and encountered the overflow of insurgents that moved away from Fallujah.
  • Tactically controlled three marines before and during Operation Iraqi Freedom
  • Trained a younger NCO for squad leader position in 3rd Battalion 7th Marines as I prepared to leave the Corps.
  • Supervised and trained over 80 Marines to be proficient Infantry men
  • Supervised over $100,000 dollars worth of sensitive equipment
